Installers are hosted on GitHub Releases. Windows builds are code-signed with Azure Trusted Signing; macOS builds are signed and notarized with Apple Developer ID.

Installation Guide

Follow these simple steps to get started

Windows

  1. 1. Download the .exe installer
  2. 2. Run the installer (Windows may show a security warning - click "More info" then "Run anyway")
  3. 3. Follow the installation wizard
  4. 4. Launch Desktopia from the Start Menu

macOS

  1. 1. Download the .dmg file
  2. 2. Open the .dmg and drag Desktopia to Applications
  3. 3. Right-click Desktopia and select Open (first time only, to bypass Gatekeeper)
  4. 4. Launch from Applications folder

Linux

  1. 1. Download the .AppImage file
  2. 2. Make it executable: chmod +x Desktopia-Setup-Linux.AppImage
  3. 3. Run the AppImage
